Privacy Policy Terms of Service Back to app

This Privacy Policy describes how Problem Solvers Guild (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use Edgar Tracker at edgartracker.problemsolversguild.com (the “Service”).

1. Who we are

Edgar Tracker is operated by Problem Solvers Guild. Contact: [email protected].

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you use the Service, we may collect:

  • Account information — email address and authentication identifiers from our login provider (Auth0), including when you sign in with email/password or Google.
  • Watchlist and portfolio inputs you provide — tickers you follow, share quantities, cost basis, notes, filing acknowledgements, ignore preferences, and similar settings stored in your account.
  • Shared content — if you create a public share link, we store a snapshot of the shared note or summary and serve it to anyone with the link.
  • Billing information — subscription and payment details are processed by Stripe. We store Stripe customer/subscription identifiers and plan status; we do not store full card numbers.
  • Usage and product analytics — events such as sign-in and feature use via PostHog (may include approximate device/browser data and identifiers).
  • Communications — if you enable email alerts (paid plans), we use your account email to send filing-related digests via our email provider (Resend).
  • Technical logs — standard server/request logs needed to operate and secure the Service.

We also retrieve public market and regulatory data (for example SEC EDGAR filings and market quotes) from third-party sources on your behalf. That public data is not “your” personal data, but requests may be associated with your account activity.

3. How we use information

  • Provide, sync, and improve the Service (watchlists, filings, notes, AI summaries, shares).
  • Authenticate you and protect accounts.
  • Process subscriptions, AI summary credits, and invoices.
  • Send optional product emails you enable (for example new-filing alerts).
  • Understand product usage and diagnose issues.
  • Comply with law and enforce our Terms of Service.

4. AI features

When you request an AI summary, filing text (or excerpts) and related context may be sent to AI model providers we use to run the feature. Summaries may be cached so you can reopen them without another charge. AI output can be incomplete or incorrect; see our Terms.

5. Public share links

Share links are optional. Creating one makes a snapshot available to anyone who has the URL, without signing in. Do not share content you are not comfortable making public. You can revoke shares from the Service where that control is offered.

6. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information with:

  • Auth0 — authentication and session management.
  • Stripe — payments and billing portal.
  • PostHog — product analytics.
  • Resend — transactional/alert email delivery.
  • AI providers — when you use summary features.
  • Infrastructure hosts — for example cloud hosting and database providers that process data to run the Service.
  • Recipients you choose — via public share links you create.
  • Legal and safety — when required by law or to protect rights, users, or the Service.

7. Cookies and local storage

We and our providers use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies for login sessions, preferences, and analytics. Browser controls may limit some of these; disabling them can break sign-in or sync.

8. Data retention

We retain account and Service data while your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. You may request deletion of your account by contacting us; some records (for example billing or security logs) may be retained where required.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

10. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 16 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11. International users

The Service may be hosted in the United States. If you access it from elsewhere, you understand your information may be processed in the U.S. and other countries where our providers operate.

12. Your choices

  • Update or delete notes, shares, and many settings in the app.
  • Turn email alerts off in settings (where available).
  • Manage billing through the Stripe customer portal.
  • Contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of account personal data.

13. Changes

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Policy.
